2014年6月9日上午10：30-12：00，American University Kogod商学院副院长Ajay Adhikari教授应管理与经济学院邀请，在主楼216会议室，为会计系老师，博士与硕士研究生就“Decision Usefulness of Joint Venture Reporting Methods Under IFRS: Evidence From European Blue Chips”为题，做了一场精彩的学术报告。
    报告分析欧盟各国联营企业报告方法，以权益法与成本法如何在联营企业应用进行了分析检验，报告引用详实的数据进行了验证。报告结束后，Ajay热情回答了老师和同学们的提问，特别对如何到该学院进行交换与学习进行了咨询。演讲取得预期成果。 主讲人简介：

Professor Adhikari teaches financial and international accounting and conducts research focused on determinants of international accounting diversity, international accounting harmonization and accounting infrastructure in emerging markets. In 2009-2010, Professor Adhikari served as the Annual Program Chair for the American Accounting Association. He is a past President of the International Accounting Section of the American Accounting Association. Professor Adhikari has been an EEC Fellow at the Danish Summer Research Institute, Visiting Fulbright Scholar at Kuwait University, and a Visiting Professor at Chuo University, Japan. He also serves on the advisory board of the Asian Accounting, Finance and Business Research Unit at Cardiff Business School, United Kingdom. In five separate years, 2010, 2008, 2007, 2006, and 2004, Adhikari was voted the Kogod Graduate Business Professor of the Year.
