伦敦大学国王学院（King’s College London）王明珠博士应邀管理与经济学院于2014年8月20日下午在主楼418会议室作了主题为“Current Accounting Research”的学术报告。
    王明珠博士首先介绍了伦敦大学国王学院的历史和现状，并说明了英国的科研考核体系。然后，她结合自己近年来丰富的研究经验，以她的若干代表性论文为例，介绍了学术论文的研究思路提炼、内容展开、方法设计等大家感兴趣的话题。最后，她对当前国际上会计研究的热点问题进行了总结，展望了未来具有潜力的研究方向，并对于这些方向在中国的发展提出了一些研究建议。
讲座内容丰富，对从事相关问题研究的老师和研究生极具参考价值。讲座在热烈的讨论中圆满结束。 主讲人简介：
Dr. Mingzhu Wang obtained her PhD in Accounting and Finance from Manchester Business School, University of Manchester. She has been a tenured lecturer at King’s College London since 2010. Her research interests include financial reporting quality (e.g. abnormal accruals and accounting conservatism), voluntary disclosures, institutional investment, and corporate governance (e.g. board structure and gender diversity). Dr. Wang has published papers in Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Journal of Business Ethics, European Journal of Finance, Corporate Governance: an International Review, etc. Since 2009, she has been a fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy.
